What to do when winter has arrived by surprise but move all of our activities indoors. Now that the garden has been put to bed and the lavender and mint is drying in the shed it is time to turn my attention to soap. Creatively, I enjoy mixing scents and textures to go into the creation of a new goat milk soap receipe. Last week I mixed dried rosemary with lemon and bergamont oils and added orange peel for a Rosemary & Citrus soap variety. Maybe I will try for a "manly" scent with cedarwood, let me know your thoughts!

You have cheese??

"Oh you have goats. Do you make cheese?" A common question I get when I begin talking about the goats that reside on our small ranch....
